Charly Boy Oputa, a veteran Nigerian singer-songwriter, has spoken out about what he would do if Bola Ahmed Tinubu or Atiku Abubakar win Nigeria’s next presidential election.

This comes after the All Progressives Congress’s National Leader, Bola Tinubu, won the party’s presidential primary after Atiku emerged as the party’s nominee.

If Atiku or Tinubu is elected President of Nigeria in 2023, Charly Boy plans to relocate to Ghana and apply for citizenship.

“IF ANY OF THESE JABAGANTIS WIN, I’M JUST LEAVING UNA WAKA AND GOING TO GHANA TO BEGG THEM FOR CITIZENSHIP. BUHARI WILL APPEAR TO BE A SAINT,” he wrote.

Tinubu defeated his closest challengers, ex-minister Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, with over 1,271 votes.
