A group of fans and well-wishers dressed in formal black strolled the streets, carrying a framed portrait of Wizkid’s late mother. The procession, spontaneously organized by avid fans and friends of Wizkid, took place on undisclosed streets in the city, with participants presenting a united front .
Also accompanying the group were members of the Nigerian Police Force, who ensured security and order for the event as the large gathering attracted considerable attention.
