Banky W, a Nigerian music legend, will formally announce his intention to run for the House of Representatives under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On Friday, April 1st, the singer made the announcement on Twitter, revealing that everything will be official by Saturday, April 2nd, 2022.
He also disclosed that he will run for the federal constituency of Eti-Osa as a member of the People’s Democratic Party.

He is, however, running for the same job for the second time; in 2019, he ran under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP) and lost to Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
