Yul Edochie weeps over the Ondo church slaughter, wondering who would vote for you if we’re all slain

Yul Edochie, a Nigerian movie actor, has condemned the assassination of innocent attendees at St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, by unidentified gunmen.

According to Sololoaded, gunmen stormed the church around 12 p.m. on Sunday and opened fire on congregants, killing an undetermined number of people.

Concerned citizens of the country have continued to express their outrage and demand that the Federal Government take immediate action to solve the deteriorating security situation.

Yul reacted by crying at the amount of insecurity destroying the country in a video posted to his social media accounts.

He bemoaned the fact that some leaders are still focused on the 2023 general elections, claiming that if assailants killed all Nigerians, there would be no need for governance.

“Everyone is fleeing the country because their lives are in danger, and no one can blame them,” he said.

“Can you tell me what’s going on in this country?” I recall when we were children and this country was calm. How can you open fire on unarmed citizens attending church services?

“Every day, we talk about the killings that are taking place in our country, and nothing is being done about it.” Human life no longer means anything to people in the North, South, and everywhere.

“Everyone is worried about the election, but who will govern and vote if they kill all Nigerians?”
