Aisha Yesufu, a well-known activist, has chastised Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church for his latest remark about President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Yesufu called Bishop Oyedepo pathetic for warning Nigerians not to vote for Buhari.
Bishop Oyedepo recently stated at Living Faith’s current Shiloh that the Buhari administration is the worst thing that has ever occurred to Nigeria.
Against this backdrop, Oyedepo stated that he is less concerned about the country’s current status.
Oyedepo also stated that he had quit worrying about the country’s insecurity and economic difficulties.
Furthermore, the co-convener of the advocacy organization BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, questioned why Oyedepo remained mute during the kidnapping of Chibok schoolgirls during the previous administration of Goodluck Jonathan.
Yesufu, who shared Oyedepo’s remark on her verified Twitter page, called both Oyedepo and the Muslim Rights Concern, MURIC, “pathetic.”
