Nigerian talented female singer Yemi Alade has released a new studio album called Empress.
The 15-track album features Afrobeats stars including Patoranking, Rudeboy, Estelle, Vegedream, Mzansi Youth Choir, and Dadju, whom she featured on track 7 “I Choose You.”
Empress represents the star of Afropop, Yemi Alade stamping her mark on the genre while increasing her sound. The project reveals the versatility that only she can offer. She taps into the dance hall with Patoranking on “Temptation,” delivers smooth R&B along with Estelle on “Weekend” and sings gospel with Mzansi Youth Choir on “Rain.”
