Banky W, a Nigerian music legend, has disclosed that Wizkid owes EME Records three albums.
Wizkid revealed that he left his former record label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), owing to the label’s three albums in an interview with Bounce Network’s Ebuka on the BlackBox.
As he puts it:
“I believe it was a five-album deal, and he had previously released two solo albums… I believe he owed three more albums, but he desired to depart. That was sufficient for me because I don’t want anyone to stay where they want to stay.”
Banky W also expressed his dissatisfaction with Wizkid’s absence from his wedding.
“I was disappointed, yes.” Wizkid wasn’t able to make it to my wedding, but I know he tried.”
Banky W also revealed more about his friendship with Wizkid.
