Wizkid breaks another record as he becomes first African artiste to headline World’s biggest gaming event in Saudi Arabia [Video]

Wizkid, a well-known Nigerian singer better known by his stage name Ayodeji Balogun, made history on July 4 when he performed as the opening act of the biggest video game tournament in the world, Gamers 8 eSports, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This has prompted a response from his supporters, who hail him as “the greatest African artiste,” sending social media into a frenzy.

Wizkid performed at the gaming convention a few weeks after it was announced that he would be the headliner of the forthcoming Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, New York.

At the three-day Rolling Loud festival, Wizkid will perform with international musicians.

Dave will appear as the festival’s opening act on September 9. On September 10, Future, an American rapper, will perform, while WizKid will round out the three-day festival on September 11.
