Nnamdi Kanu, the head of IPOB, is represented by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, who claims that the federal government is not yet prepared to bring charges against his client.

According to Ejiofor, the Federal Government is using a variety of techniques to hold Kanu in custody indefinitely.

He based his assertion on the fact that since the IPOB leader was brought before a court in 2015, the Federal Government had modified the treasonable felony accusations against him seven times.

Ejiofor stated on Thursday that the court would continue to dismiss part of the charges since “the last one they altered made it seven times they amended their charge, either lessening or raising.”
