Yomi Fabiyi, an actor, has declared that he owes comedian Princess nothing in return for his support of fellow actor Baba Ijesha following his conviction.

This was stated by the father of one in an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on Your View TV on Friday, September 16. Fabiyi stated in parts:

“I DON’T THINK I OWE ANYBODY BECAUSE THERE WAS THAT MISCONCEPTION ABOUT WHAT I WAS ACTUALLY STANDING FOR. WE WERE NOT RAISED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN AN ISSUE IS BROUGHT UP, THE KEY ACTORS IN ANY CASE DESERVE THEIR RIGHT TO BE PROTECTED. WHEN I NOTICED THAT THE RIGHT OF THE VICTIM AND COMPLAINANT IS GIVEN TO THEM, WHY SHOULD ANYBODY FEEL SAD OR FEEL BAD THAT I AM AGITATING THAT THE RIGHT OF THE DEFENDANT SHOULD ALSO BE UPHELD.”

A jury convicted Baba Ijesha guilty of indecent treatment of a child and sexual assault on a minor who also happens to be the princess’ foster daughter, among other accusations.
