If Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, decides to retire, Frank Edwards, a well-known Nigerian gospel singer, has explained how Nigerian millennials will treat him.
On Thursday, Edwards posted a trailer from a film in which Mike Ezuruonye starred on his official Instagram profile.
Mike, who played a Reverend Father in the film, refused to govern his native kingdom because of his ministry, but the elders were not convinced.
The elders forced the regal gown on Mike Ezuruonye, gave him the mantle of authority, and began proclaiming him as their king while he was still objecting.
He captioned the video, “I imagine this is what the youngsters would do to Peter Obi if he ever contemplates stepping down.”
