Former Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike, has stated his views on accepting any appointment from President Bola Tinubu.

According to Xclusive, Wike stated in a recent interview with BBC Pidgin that only God knows what his next step will be.

The ex-governor stated that for someone who had spent the previous eight years in government, relaxing should be a priority, and that is exactly what he had opted to do.

When asked if he would accept any federal job, Wike stated that Tinubu has yet to discuss anything with him.

However, if the former governor of Lagos State offers him an appointment, he would ask his wife and friends about their thoughts before accepting it.

Wike added he will also ensure that he is ready to accept such an offer or not.
