Caroline Danjuma, a Nollywood actress, sparked controversy online with a message she published in response to the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

The reality TV actress criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and accused the body of fraud and election malpractice in her response to the election results and Tinubu’s victory.

Caroline also mentioned in the tweet that the nation is mourning Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s election as president rather than celebrating it.

She continued by claiming that INEC chose the country’s president since the election outcome was not an accurate reflection of the will of the electorate.

The politician who was waving the AAC flag at the state level then proclaimed that because INEC had stolen the electorate’s votes, the election results had killed democracy. Written by Caroline Danjuma:

“To every single Nigerian both young and old that fought for change, you are loved, for the first time in a long time FELT change will definitely come ..

INEC elected the president, by the grace of God, God will elect ours.. for now let’s all learn to understand politics and the constitution of Nigeria. When you speak you speak with facts.

Hope is not lost… as we mourn Nigeria today. We hope for a brighter tomorrow.

INEC @inecnigeria STOLE OUR VOTES . It is a dark day in Nigeria . Death to democracy and transparency. want you all never to give up, slowly but surely victory will be ours . Say a little prayer for Nigeria. Time to build yourself.”
