The ministry claimed that the mentioned shopping center is not operational.

The weapons and ammunition provided by the West and concentrated in the storage location for onward transport to the Ukrainian group of forces in Donbas were reportedly targeted by a high-precision strike, according to Russia.

According to the ministry, the fire at the mall was started by the detonation of ammunition for western weaponry that was being stored there.

There were reportedly dozens of people inside the mall when the missile impacted.
