The former minister spoke against the backdrop of the PDP and APC’s defeat by the Labour Party in Nasarawa State during the presidential election on February 25.

Given that the APC’s national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, is from the state and that the party also has an incumbent Governor in office, he claimed that while the PDP had indeed lost in Nasarawa, the APC had suffered an even greater loss.

Maku, who is a PDP chieftain submitted that both parties underestimated the Labour Party but the APC performed more woefully in Nasarawa State given the advantages that should have worked in its favour.
