Following the gubernatorial election, according to Naija News, several politicians in the State have claimed that Igbos intend to seize control of Lagos through the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

He questioned the methods Igbos would use to drive Yorubas out of the state or evict them fortuitously from their homes and businesses.
