Veteran actress Maureen Okpoko cries out as she goes blind – VIDEO

Nollywood veteran Maureen Okpoko has pleaded with Nigerians to help her since she is losing her vision.

She made reference to her current difficulty seeing in a video that has gone viral and implied that she needs immediate medical care or risk losing all of her sight.

The ill actress admitted she needs money to address her blindness and vision damage, which is why she must make contact with Nigerians.

She claims that despite the challenges of living with eyesight loss, she is thankful to God for giving her life. So she asked her followers to pray for her.

She spoke;

“I suddenly lost my sight, that means I can no longer see or I can’t see for now.

I’m seeking for your financial assistance, it would be greatly appreciated if y’all can come to my aid.

I also need your prayers and words of encouragement, it has not been an easy journey for me, but I’m grateful for the gift of life. Thank y’all’”

The stunning actress, who was born in Anambra, Nigeria, has starred in a number of Nigerian television series, including Red Scorpion, Baby Oku, Clinic Matters, University Mafias, Dear Mother, Sorrowful, and others.

In addition, the 62-year-old acted in a number of Nollywood productions, including Crazy Temper, The Banker, Wasted, Enemy of Light, Falling, Matured Games, One Room, Labour Room, The Duplex, and others.
