Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi has told the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that his state will not participate in the fight for an independent nation.
Ebonyi people are marginalized and ignored in the South East, according to the Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum and past Presidential hopeful.
The state, according to Umahi, will not participate in the war for Biafra’s actualization because of his people’s marginalization.
He revealed this at a banquet on Sunday to welcome him back to the state following the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary in Abuja.
“EBONYI PEOPLE ARE NOT REGARDED IN THE SOUTH-EAST COMMUNITY,” he said. EBONYI WILL NEVER BE, I CONTINUE TO SAY.
