UCL final: The next competition is expected to begin tomorrow – Salah speaks out about Liverpool’s defeat to Real Madrid

Mohamed Salah, a Liverpool star, has spoken out for the first time since his team’s 1-0 Champions League final loss to Liverpool on May 28.

Remember how Real Madrid beat Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris, due to Vinicius’ game-winning goal.

Salah was out for vengeance after being injured in the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid, but he returned to Paris empty-handed last month.

The Egyptian captain, on the other hand, is now declaring that he and his teammates ‘cannot describe’ how much they wanted to win the Champions League and that he wishes the next competition would begin tomorrow.

“I cannot convey in words how much we wanted to bring that trophy back to Liverpool but in the end, we couldn’t,” Salah stated on Instagram after Liverpool’s defeat.

“I can’t express my gratitude to the fans enough for their support. It’s been a long season, and a part of me desires that the next one starts tomorrow.”
