Hip hop music used to be more like an emperor in South Africa, dwarfing other genres. That was, of course, in the past. Amapiano is now king, marching imperiously. And it has been stealing artists from other genres with ease.
TuksinSA is one of many who began with amapiano, and he’s so convinced that the genre would make substantial inroads into other genres that he wouldn’t mind being at the forefront of the March.
