Transfer fee of £65 million Barcelona’s midfielder has finally accepted to join Manchester United

The Dutch midfielder Frenkie De Jong has agreed to join Manchester United from Barcelona this summer.

The footballer offered his assent for his transfer after previously professing his wish to stay at Nou Camp.

Ten Haag, a Dutch international, is now United’s No. 1 summer transfer target as he attempts to rebuild a side that failed last season.

Barcelona is asking £65 million in order for the transfer to take place.

Now that De Jong has agreed to leave Catalonia for Old Trafford, the only thing left is for the Red Devils and De Jong’s current employers to agree on a price.

The Catalan club will have to sell this summer in order to help stabilize the team’s precarious finances.
