Matteo Guendouzi has officially left Arsenal to sign with Marseille on a permanent basis, the club has announced.

Guendouzi met a condition of his loan agreement with the Ligue 1 club, which immediately triggered his transfer for a sum of almost €10 million.

A part of the official announcement said, “As per the agreement with Marseille, Matteo has made his move permanent after spending 2021–2022 on loan with the Ligue 1 club, during which time he became a vital part of their side, making 56 appearances in all competitions during the campaign.

In the summer of 2018, Guendouzi migrated from Lorient to the Gunners.
