In a statement to reporters outside the INEC headquarters gate in Abuja, Atiku further guaranteed that the demonstration will go on.

“Every aspect of the existing electoral law has been thoroughly violated,” declared Atiku. When we were protesting, INEC did not pay attention and continued to proclaim the outcome.

“We are protesting because of this. We have the right to protest, and we will do so continuously or occasionally for a very long time.

According to the constitution, “we have the right to protest, and it doesn’t prohibit us from going to court,” he declared.

Bola Tinubu of the APC defeated Atiku and Peter Obi of the Labour Party in the presidential election on February 25.

After the winner and President-elect Tinubu, the former vice president placed second.
