When Okikiola Habeeb’s old manager and concert promoter Ijoba Danku entered into a questionable agreement with a foreign music promotion, the street musician, also known as Portable, found himself in difficulty.

The Zazuu Crooner stated in a video that went viral online that the international promoter, Freezy Entertainment, had agreed to get him a US visa but that he had reneged on the agreement after attending the interview and failing five times. He added that they asked him to travel with ten unnamed people, but despite their request, he was still unable to get a visa.

According to Portable, a new friend promised to drive him to the US and assist him with getting a visa. To remove his old manager and promoter from the previous deal, the Entertainment label with which they were under contract demanded 12 million Naira from him.

The 28-year-old concurred and agreed to a payment plan in installments. He asserts that he has already made three payments of N2 million and that he is unable to make the final N12 million payment.

The singer went on to allege that the international label wants 20 billion Naira in damages before they can renege on the deal allowing him to go unhindered to the United States of America.
