The artist Sabinus, aka Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, has just released a brand-new sample of N1000 notes.
When word spread that the Central Bank of Nigeria, or CBN, had changed the appearance of some Naira notes, this occurred.
At a special press conference held in Abuja on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele shared the information.
He explained that the move was made to take control of the money in circulation and that the old notes won’t be accepted as legal tender starting on January 31st, 2023.
However, on his verified Instagram profile, Sabinus shared a fresh sample of N1000 notes with his images and a Nigerian actress by the stage name of Pawpaw, Osita Iheme.
