Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, is a Nigerian musician and songwriter who has a song on the soundtrack of the Black Panther sequel, ‘Wakanda Forever.’

Tems’ vocal version and sampling of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” is the official teaser for Marvel Studios’ upcoming blockbuster directed by Ryan Coogler, which is planned to be released in the United States on November 11, 2022.

The singer and recent BET award winner have had a fantastic 2022, from winning honors to appearing in hit worldwide songs such as Future’s “Wait for You,” which topped the Billboard 100 list, to working on Beyoncé’s current album.

The singer was reported to have worked on and been featured on track 10 of Queen Bey’s latest album “Renaissance,” which the international diva announced on her Instagram stories when she uploaded the tracklist of the 16-track album due to be released on July 29, 2022.

The song, titled ‘Move,’ was written by Richard Isona, Ariowa Irosogie, and Denisia Blu. Ronald Banful, June Andrews, Brittany Coney, Temilade Openiyi Richard Olowaranti Mbu Isong, a Nigerian-British producer, is also credited on the album (P2J).
