Two Billboard Hot 100 entries have been made by the singer. The first came from her work on the single Essence with superstar Wizkid. The latter came about as a result of being a featured artist on the single Fountains from Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album.

Career

Tems had already made up her mind to pursue music professionally by the time she was fifteen. She made the first move to stop listening to other musicians in order to fulfill this dream.

To find her own style, she took this action. As a result, she started making music in her own style, which gave rise to a hybrid of alté, afrobeats, and r&b.

She had picked up sound production while she was a student and had started to get good at it. To create beats for her own songs, that was the reason she wanted to learn the skill.
