Tekno Miles is the stage name of Augustine Miles Kelechi, a Nigerian entertainer born on December 17, 1992.

Born on December 17, 1990, he is a talented Nigerian singer, record producer, and songwriter.

He also performs under the name Alhaji Tekkino and is an R&B, hip-hop, and Afrobeats artist.

Ivo Local Government in Nigeria’s Ebonyi State is the home of Augustine Miles Kelechi, better known by his stage name Tekno.

He was reportedly born in the state of Bauchi into a family of six people, five of whom are boys, including himself, and one female.

Tekno was born in 1992 on December 17, the day he celebrates his birthday.

At the tender age of 8, he was enrolled in music school, where he learned how to play the piano and guitar.

He has lived in numerous different Nigerian States, including Nassarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja.


At the age of 8, Tekno Miles participated in music school, where he quickly attained expert proficiency on the piano and guitar.

In Kaduna, where he received his secondary education, he also attended Heritage School.

He is not a graduate which he made known in his statement; “I no go school yet I count millions.”


When Tekno was initially formally signed to K-money Entertainment, he launched his debut song, which received a ton of radio play.

Fans were drawn to the song because Davido, a Nigerian superstar, was a featured artist. He later met Ubi Franklin and Iyanya at an event in 2012, and they recommended him to go to Lagos so he could continue his music career and pursue greater possibilities.

In 2013, after relocating to Lagos, a major commercial hub in Nigeria, he secured a recording deal with Made Men Music Group.

He recorded three singles that got him nominated shortly after signing a recording contract with Triple MG, a top-tier musical company in Nigeria.

As a testament to his career, Tekno has received several awards, including Best New Talent at the 2014 Nigerian Entertainment Awards and Best Pop Extra Video at the 9th Nigeria Music Video Awards. Among other things, Best New Artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards.
