David Imoh, a sound engineer who was killed and burned to death by several okada riders in the Lekki neighborhood of Lagos on May 12, 2022, has been laid to rest by friends, family members, and coworkers.
After a dispute over the N100 balance with one of the commercial motorcyclists, Imoh was lynched and burned to death.
His family members performed a memorial service for him before the last rites, which are now taking place in a private cemetery in Lagos. The dead were regarded as a conscientious and committed people.
The two-day funeral ceremony includes a hymn of service organized by the church for the departed. The event took place at the Church of God Mission International in Lagos’ Victoria Island.
His wife, two children, mother, and other relatives survive him.
Mr. Imoh was born in 1984, the youngest of nine siblings, according to his biography. He was interested in sound creation.
He also served as an event manager for Real-time festival, the Experience, Legacy 360 band, and a number of other companies.
