Stan Nze, a Nollywood actor, has received his first international award for his part in Play Network Studios’ version of ‘Rattlesnake.’

The celebrated actor earned the ‘Best African Actor’ honor at the Septimius award in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Nze extended his gratitude to his supporters in an emotional remark in an Instagram post celebrating his triumph.

Stan Nze was nominated alongside seven other South African and Nigerian actors, including Netflix’s “Silverton Siege” star Thabo Rametsi. The award for the actor’s portrayal of the titular character went to ‘Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story,’ directed by Ramsey Nouah and produced by Play Network Studios.

The prestigious Septimius award recognizes persons who have made important contributions to the world.

The edition for 2022 was held in Amsterdam on June 6-7.
