Nigerians have taken to social media to call out Afrobeats musician, Davido over what is seen to be an attack on the ‘Obidient movement’.

The singer appeared to have liked a video made by activist Deji Adeyanju, who claimed that the Labour Party was also involved in election cheating.

Over the weekend, Adeyanju uploaded a contentious video of some people manipulating results on voting papers, claiming that they are rigging like the APC and PDP.

According to Davido’s Twitter account, he liked the tweet, which riled up his supporters, many of whom are part of the Obidient movement.

The fact that he had never concealed his previous allegiance for the Peoples Democratic Party made his actions much more suspicious to those who hauled him.

However, after receiving heavy criticism, Davido appeared to have disliked the tweet, but trolls had already taken screenshots. Please see the video, screenshot, and comments below:
