A Nigerian musician named Harrysong has slammed two former label mates, Skiibii and Kcee, for treating him unfairly after he made sacrifices for them.
He said that Skiibii, a colleague at Five Star Music, insulted him and his wife at their wedding in Warri, Delta state.
On the Frankly Speaking podcast, Harrysong mentioned genuine friendships in the music business.
He talked about how, when he had just started working for the same record label, he had given Skiibii a place to live, clothes to wear, and food to eat.
The “Reggae Blues” singer also talked about how he assisted Kcee with songwriting and performance before subsequently denying him the chance to be successful as a solo artist.
Harry claimed that Skiibii insulted him on the day of his wedding despite the fact that he was named the best man and had paid for their custom outfits and flights.
He continued by saying that Kcee had initially moved in with him after approaching him and appealing for help with songwriting.
He stated that on occasion, he would stay up late writing songs for Kcee as he slept.
He continued by claiming that Skiibii was now a member of a cult and enjoyed using jazz, which is why he had the gall to criticize him.
Harry, the man behind Alter Plate Records, asserted that many experts in the area take pride in their cult membership.
