Award-winning Afrobeats musician Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, and the European Union have begun working together in Nigeria.
On her Instagram page, the 29-year-old made the announcement and stated that she will be collaborating with the union to promote “Africa’s blooming educational sector and Nigeria’s ever-expanding Green Economy.”
In a video message, Teni encouraged her fans and other Nigerians to join her on the journey. See below:
Keep in mind that Teni got national recognition for her efforts in the music industry on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
Along with other music giants including Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, dubbed Burna Boy, and Innocent Idibia, also known as TuBaba, President Muhammad Buhari recognized her as a Member of the Order of the Niger (MON).
But after several people alleged that Teni disrespected the president by declining to shake his hand or bow after he awarded her the honor, Teni gained popularity on social media.
