Ruger, a Nigerian musician, claims to be a “born again” Christian who has rededicated his life to Christ in preparation for the release of his debut album.
Ruger wrote in an Instagram post that after undergoing what he called a “deliverance service” at Tabernacle Christian Centre, he confessed a lot on the record.
The 22-year-old captioned a selfie of himself in front of the church:

“ON THIS ALBUM, I’VE CONFESSED A LOT OF THINGS. GUYS, I’VE BEEN BORN AGAIN. SPECIAL THANKS TO THE TABERNACLE CHRISTIAN CENTRE FOR THE DELIVERY SERVICE.”
Ruger is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records, which is a subsidiary of D’Prince’s Jonzing World Record label.
