For this weekend’s double single release, Ruger delivers an Amapiano-inspired single, “Bun Bun“.

Ruger, whose real name is Michael Adebayo, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He gained recognition in the Nigerian music industry after signing with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records, in 2020. Ruger’s music style is a blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and dancehall.

Not much is known about Ruger’s personal background as he emerged on the music scene relatively recently. However, he has managed to make an impact with his music. In January 2021, Ruger released his debut single titled “One Shirt,” featuring fellow Jonzing World artist Rema and D’Prince. The song received positive reviews and introduced Ruger’s unique sound to a wider audience.

Following the success of “One Shirt,” Ruger released his debut extended play (EP) titled “Pandemic” in March 2021. The EP contained six tracks, including the hit single “Ruger,” which further solidified his place in the Nigerian music industry. Ruger’s music often reflects his life experiences and the realities of the Nigerian youth, with a blend of catchy melodies and relatable lyrics.

Ruger has been praised for his vocal abilities, versatility, and ability to deliver captivating performances. His music has resonated with fans both in Nigeria and internationally, earning him a growing fan base. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, Ruger is still an up-and-coming artist, and it will be interesting to see how his career progresses in the future.

Ruger dedicates his song to all women, “Bun Bun” featuring the singer for Amapiano delivering the usual tunes.

The Jugglerz-produced song, “Bun Bun“, follows on from his recent national anthem, “Jonzing Boy“, which paved the way for his debut album.

The song “Bun Bun” is said to be part of Ruger‘s highly anticipated debut album, “RU THE WORLD (RTW)“, which will be out in a few weeks.

Furthermore, the album “RU THE WORLD (RTW)” must be a project filled with work that will reveal the singer’s versatility and dominance.

Because of the plethora of talents rising from the streets, we’ve witnessed a lot of breakthroughs for most of the new musicians that join the market using freestyle videos to demonstrate what they’ve got in store for us.

Following previously released tracks, the well-enchanted song is the most recent entrance this year.

I’m hoping that the success of this album will help the Afro-classic crooner achieve greatness.
