Talented Nigerian musician, Reekado Banks reappeared to the music industry with a remix version of his highly awaited Amapiano single “Ozumba Mbadiwe,” this time partnering with the talented singer Fireboy DML, who pays homage to the joint work.

Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known as Reekado Banks, is a Nigerian worldwide singer, composer, and performer. The singer, who was born on December 6, 1993, received his big break in 2014 after signing a deal with renowned African music label, Mavin Records, and has since been on an incredible streak.

Reekado Banks is regarded as one of Africa’s most consistent hitmakers, as seen by the number of music giants who have engaged his services as a featured artist. Nigerian music artists Wizkid and Tiwa Savage are on the list, as are East African diva Vanessa Mdee and rapper Ycee.

“Ozumba Mbadiwe” is one of Nigeria’s top hit songs of 2021, with enormous streaming on media platforms, making it one of the year’s top hit songs.

In 2020, Reekado Banks released a 7-track EP titled ‘Off the Record.’ The collaboration, which included Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Harmonize, Kida Kudz, Attifaya, and EO, had the Afrobeat hit tune – RORA. Following the popularity of the track OZUMBA MBADIWE, Reeky Baby released Off The Record Vol. 2 (OTR – Where Did We Stop) in 2021.

Evidently, Mr Banks returns today, February 4, 2022, with Ozumba Mbadiwe, starring Fireboy DML. The YBNL rising star adds extra fire to the blockbuster hit!
