Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has been encouraged to acknowledge that Bola Tinubu used him to win the recently-concluded presidential election.
Reno Omokri, a supporter of Atiku Abubakar’s campaign for president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said that Obi was mistaken to believe he had won the 2015 presidential election.

For anti-party acts, Labour suspended Basambo Abubakar, its candidate for governor of Kwara, two days ago. Peter Obi urged Obidients to support Sandy Onor, the PDP’s nominee for governor of the C River, yesterday. Would Labour also suspend him, or do different people have to follow different rules?
Behind Tinubu, the eventual winner, and Atiku, the LP candidate finished third in the presidential election.
Obi had insisted that he had won the election despite losing and that he would challenge the results in court.
In order to accomplish this, the former governor of Anambra State assembled a team of attorneys to represent him before the Presidential Election Tribunal.
