Actor Yul Edochie of Nollywood is prepared to file a lawsuit against the school where his son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, who passed away on Thursday, attended.
Edochie allegedly charged the school’s administration with carelessness.
The grieving film director informed the Lagos State Police Command of his son’s passing.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state’s police public relations officer, confirmed the news to the BBC on Thursday.
Hundeyin claims that the State Criminal Investigation Department will be tasked with looking into the situation today (Friday).
said Hundeyin;
“He just reported the case and we have begun investigation. By tomorrow (Friday) it will be transferred to state CID. We will investigate what killed the boy. They have to do an autopsy and know what happened to him,” he said.
“We can’t tell you what happened to him now until an autopsy is conducted, but the incident happened in the school.”
Kambilichukwu, who had been brought to the Mother and Child Hospital in Lagos after having a seizure, passed away on Thursday morning.
Although Kambilinachukwu is Yul and May’s second child after being married for 18 years, he is the first son.
Victory Edochie, Karl, and Danielle Edochie are their other kids.
