Dons Uzor, a leader of the Labour Party in Anambra State, has urged Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria Peoples Party’s presidential candidate, to focus on his goals rather than disparage Igbos before the 2023 election.
In response to Kwankwaso’s remarks about running against Peter Obi, Uzor stated that the Northerners were responsible for bringing Nigeria to its current position.

The LP leader said that the North should let the Igbo enter to restore Nigeria after they had destroyed it.

He requested backing for Obi to rule Nigeria for eight years while he waited to see whether there would be any reforms.

Uzor thinks that Kwankwaso should run as Obi’s running mate, not the other way around.

In a conversation with The Guardian, Uzor stated, “I think he should focus his campaign on what he can do to restore the country that his brothers have sullied. He should hide his face in humiliation over the fact that, despite everything they say they are in the North, and they have managed to ruin the nation. Allow the Igbo man to go there and save the country if his people are unable to do it.

“This vicious attack and smear campaign will not defeat a thought whose time has come. We are ready to rule Nigeria at any time, and we will succeed just like we have in the things we have done in the past. Let’s give Obi the go-ahead to rule for eight years.
