Wizkid, the Grammy Nobel prize Nigerian artist, has set tongues wagging with his latest actions.
Fans were taken aback when the musician deleted all but two of his Instagram posts.
A quick look at his Instagram feed revealed that the father of three only has two postings from July and June.
The two entries contain a video of his performance at the 2022 Wireless Festival in Birmingham, UK, as well as images from his journey to Philadelphia, PA.
It appears that the artist is attempting a ‘Beyonce’ moment by erasing his Instagram posts in preparation for his new album.
Wizkid revealed in June that his next album “More Life, Less Ego” MLLE would be launched on August 5, 2022.
MLLE will be his fifth studio album, featuring both domestic and international artists such as Naira Marley, Buju BXN, Ayra Starr, Skepta, TY Dolla, and Flame.
Wizkid captioned a video of himself in the studio, “Big Up Naira, Ayra, Buju, Skep, Flame; See you 5/8 #MLLE.”
