According to sources who spoke to the publication, the two leaders decided to meet in France, where the APC presidential contender was attending crucial meetings to advance his bid for the presidency.

Remember that in a now-deleted post, Joe Igbokwe, the Special Assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sewage and Drainage, alleged that Wike had traveled to France to meet with Tinubu.

The article had sparked speculation that Governor Wike might not be endorsing PDP nominee Atiku Abubakar for president.

In response, Igbokwe wrote on Thursday afternoon: “While they are online harassing everyone, Governor Wike travels to France to visit Asiwaju. Abusive language, slurs, hatred, and bigotry are not tactics. Since 2015, they have detested and harassed PMB (President Muhammadu Buhari), and now they are acting violently at Asiwaju. We watch and wait.

Igbokwe has since removed the post as of the time this article was filed.
