“Only a 24 carat gold-plated pounded yam can heal me” – Cuppy laments after suffering headache over Man Utd’s defeat
DJ Cuppy, real name Ifeoluwa Florence Otedola, claims she has to eat a gold-plated pounded yam to get over the headache she experienced after the Manchester United defeat.
Yesterday’s 3-6 loss to Manchester City was a crushing setback for the Manchester Reds.
Cuppy, who is terribly saddened by the defeat of her beloved team, claims that the only thing that will cheer her up is to eat a yam that has been dipped in gold.
She posted photos of the lavish lunch, which appeared to be totally covered in gold plating, while she consumed it.
On her Instagram page, Cuppy posted the pictures and wrote:
“ONLY 24 CARAT GOLD-PLATED POUNDED YAM CAN HEAL THE PAIN MAN U IS CAUSING ME”
After being posted online by the billionaire’s daughter, it swiftly gained popularity and generated discussion among Nigerians. Some of them laughed at her eating the golden food, while others laughed at her justification.
