A Time Bomb Is Mbaka’s Adoration Ban.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, the youth arm of the leading Igbo socio-cultural organization, has demanded the reopening of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry and warned that a protracted closure might be fatal.

Recall that the ministry was terminated as a result of Mbaka’s outburst directed at Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.

As a result of a guy being shown in a viral video threatening to kill Bishop Callistus Onaga of the Enugu Catholic Diocese, the parishioners of Adoration raised a protest, which did little to improve the situation.

The young man in question has mental health concerns, according to Mbaka, who earlier came forward to state that he would never be a part of any scheme to hurt the Bishop.

The OYC responded in a statement made accessible to XCLUSIVEPOP on Wednesday, claiming that the Adoration Ministry’s protracted closure was a ticking time bomb.

The OYC National President, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, and the Secretary, Comrade Obinna Achionye, both signed the statement.

The group claimed that they had been making an effort to soothe the agitated supporters of Fr. Mbaka, however, they emphasized that it would be impossible to maintain their composure for too long.

The OYC claimed a planned scheme to force Fr. Mbaka out of the ministry.

“Elele, Mbaka’s own has now been transformed into a chaplaincy instead of being an upper room ministry, which is what it was previously, like the Ebube Monso Ministry and the Catholic Prayer Ministry.

“Our information revealed that there is a serious gang up and conspiracy against Fr. Mbaka, as well as plans to take over everything he has worked for in life, with a view to crippling his source of magnified charity to the poor masses and send him out to overseas for further studies after 28 years of his priestly ordination,” the source said.

In addition, the Ohanaeze youths claimed to have found blueprints for a seminary to be built at the Adoration grounds, adding that “if it is actually about Peter Obi, Fr. Mbaka has even apologized for his statements, and we had expected the Church authority to forgive him in accordance with Biblical directives. Since what he said was a prophecy, praying against it was the correct course of action.

The gang said on the threat video that the persona in question was a well-known mentally disturbed individual and that nobody should worry about “his rantings.”

They want Bishop Onaga “to take into account the many individuals Fr. Mbaka feeds each day.” We are saying this because it would be challenging to contain them if they took to the streets. The current state of affairs is actually a bomb waiting to go off. Although we have been conversing with them, we are unsure of how long we can keep them.

“This individual provides care for almost 25,000 people, either directly through work or through charitable activities. A person like that shouldn’t be joked with.

“The Church ought to practice what it preaches about forgiving people. According to the Bible, forgiveness can be as much as 70 times 70. In light of the priest’s apology, the Church ought to extend forgiveness and consider the wider picture.
