Controversial A new song named “Obi is a boy” has been released by Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable.

The song’s lyrics honor Tinubu as the next president-elect while also subtly criticizing Peter Obi, the losing candidate for the LP.

This occurs shortly after King Westt, one of the sons of Musiliu Akisanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, referred to Obi as his boy.

Portable, who may have drawn inspiration from King Westt’s remark, originally released a video of himself entering the recording studio before releasing the finished song.

He focused the lyrics of his song on Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party, and Bola Tinubu, the president-elect of the All Progressives Congress.

Tinubu was described as a father by Portable, who also referred to Obi as a boy and cited Tinubu’s alias, Jagaban.

The song by the Zazuu star has received negative feedback from fans in a video. He posted the video to his Instagram page with the following caption:

“Obi is a boy.  Jagaban Na Person Father Ashiwaju Na Boss.  Eyin Omo YORUBA it’s another 30years again that we always denied our own Father brother and son I hope we break the course this year Nibo Wontobe Ashiwaju leader of the leaders. Wahala Wahala Wahala”
