Here is the official music video for Nonso Amadi and Zinoleesky‘s most recent single, “Lock Up.”

I wrote the Afro-pop song “Lock Up” back in 2018. One of my most upbeat tracks to date, I think. At a song camp in the Benin Republic, I ran into Zinoleesky‘s manager and gave her a copy of the song to listen to.

A few months later, Zinoleesky drops his verse, and I can be seen dancing to it in the video. The song’s actual theme is also much more gritty than the majority of my other tracks.

Lock up means “shut up” in Nigerian slang. This is therefore me being assertive and informing a girl that I like her and am prepared to reprimand anyone who stands in the way of a relationship.

The song “Lock Up,” which Nonso Amadi and P.Priime produced, is from Nonso’s soon-to-be-released album “When It Blooms.”

For uaxstudio, Joe Penny directed the video.

Quotable Lyrics;
