Nigeria is bleeding, according to Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, the Eselu of Iselu in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, who has urged Nigerians to quickly put Bola Tinubu on his toes.

Eselu claimed that in order to restore the pride of the Nigerian country, the president-elect now needs ideas and skills.

The monarch advised Nigerians to disregard false forecasts and put the upcoming president on the right course so that, when he succeeds President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2023, Nigeria will be better administered.

Oba Akinyemi urged Tinubu to take all necessary measures to improve conditions for the majority of people in Nigeria, noting that the country is suffering from hunger, poverty, and insecurity.

The monarch emphasized in an interview with DAILY POST that all Nigerians, regardless of their geography, religion, ethnicity, or political connections, deserve to benefit from the benefits of democracy.

He said, “I want to congratulate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect. I also want to congratulate Prince Dapo Abiodun, who is my governor.

“This is the start of a new era for this nation. There must be full attendance. Tinubu needs our moral and spiritual assistance. We must offer him our prayers and suggestions for better ways to lead our nation than the way he plans to succeed Buhari.

“We ought to get together and put him on the track. So that he can give us the benefits of democracy and make sure his manifestoes are implemented, we should keep him on his toes.

“Now is not the time for false prophecy. We went over it and saw they all fell short. “My ways are not your ways, and your ways are not mine,” the Bible quotes God as saying.

“Now, Asiwaju Tinubu’s success is a reward for his good deeds, his political cunning, and his consultation with several political gladiators in the South and North. He is a tenacious fighter with a lion’s heart, and I give him that much. Several of us who backed him are pleased to have him leading our country.

Oba Akinyemi expressed his hopes for the future of Nigeria by saying: “We know he will alter our nation; this is the Nigeria of our dreams. We want our kids to grow up in this country and love it more when they return than they do now.

“Nigeria is suffering from famine, poverty, insecurity, and several difficulties. No more time for the jamboree; let’s go to work. As Asiwaju is capable, we want him to get started right away.

The traditional leader prayed, saying, “We hope for his success. In order to tap into the resource of what he can provide us right now, we should put aside partisan politics right now and put the man on the proper path. In Jesus’ name, I pray for his prosperity and that God would use him to change this nation.
