Nigerian politician Atiku Abubakar has spoken out in support of Nigerian youths who are concerned about the rot and canker in the political system about their rights.

On the one-year anniversary of the END SARS demonstration, Atiku urged Nigerian youths not to give up their struggle against the federal government.

Taking to Twitter, he stated that it is the constitutional right of Nigerian youngsters to be heard for their ideas and views about country building.

He wrote:

 Our youth mean well and deserve to be heard—it is their constitutional right and an essential component of democracy.

On this day of the anniversary of protests for police reforms, I wish to restate the need for improved policing that protects the interest of the citizens.

It is an opportunity the country cannot afford to miss.
