“You did so well, We are proud of you”- Celebrities comforts Stanley Nwabali as he gets emotional following Super Eagles’ loss

Nigerian football player and custodian Stanley Nwabali was seen sobbing following the Super Eagles’ loss to Ivory Coast. Celebrities showed their support for him as a result of this.

Recall that just a few hours ago, Ivory Coast defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 to win the AFCON Championship.

Nwabali vented his frustration on his Instagram page to disgruntled Nigerians.

He apologized to Nigerians, saying he understood the feeling of having one’s night ruined.

He conveyed his love and gratitude to Nigerians for their unwavering support while also taking ownership of the situation and accepting fault.

“A disappointing and frustrating end. I deeply apologize to Nigerians. I was once a fan, still a fan and I understand how it feels giving you a disappointing night. We take full responsibility. Thanks for the whole support till the end. I love you all” he wrote.
