Rema, Asake, Odumodublvck and 2 others are my favourite artistes right now – Wizkid causes a buzz online

Award-Winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has become one of the most talked about individuals on the internet after naming his top five favorite artists on Instagram.

Wizkid stirred eyebrows a few hours ago when he took a 6-year hiatus from the music industry to pursue his acting ambitions.

The “Essence” singer added in the post that he only wants to kiss female actresses he likes and that he appreciates action movies in which he shoots firearms.

Wizkid made a visit to Kunle Afolayan, the famed Nigerian film producer, at his restaurant and bar in Ikeja, Lagos.

Following that, Wizkid selected his favorite Nigerian singers at the moment on his 17.8 million-follower verified Instagram page.

Wizkid’s current favorite musicians are Rema, Asake, Odumodublvck, Shallipopi, and Bloody Civilian, an emerging vocalist.

Wizkid praised Shallipopi, stating that even if the singer coughs during his song, he will still dance to it.

Wizkid also asks anyone who is not on the list to leave. He wrote;

“Yea my fav artistes rn…Odumodublvck, Rema, Asake, Bloody Civilian!! fucking superstars!

He added; “And if Shallipopi cough!! I go dance! everybody gerrout!”
