Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, better known as Phyno, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is well-known for his distinct manner of incorporating Igbo language and culture into his songs. Phyno was born in Enugu State, Nigeria, on October 9, 1986.
He rose to prominence in the Nigerian music business with the release of his debut studio album, “No Guts, No Glory,” in 2014. The album, which included smash singles such as “Ghost Mode” and “Man of the Year,” established him as a notable figure in Nigerian hip-hop.
Phyno has multiple successful albums and singles to his credit, and he is well-known for collaborating with other prominent Nigerian musicians. His hits include “Fada Fada,” “Connect,” “So Far, So Good,” and “Ride For You.”
In addition to his singing career, Phyno has dabbled in acting, appearing in a few Nollywood films.
